Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem, an Icelandic performer. Her most well-known role is the role of Jane Seymour, the young woman who is to become the third queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem started her career as an actress at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. In her early years as a child actor, she performed in many plays as well as radio shows from her homeland of Iceland. Briem left Iceland for London aged 16 when he was part of an opera called Lenin's Love. Briem went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for 3 years and earned the diploma of acting. Briem was a part of numerous plays as a student at RADA and was in plays such as The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House by Federico Garcia Lorca.
